I cant say i have ever played in what started off as a freezer and turned out half way through the match as a sauna. With tables that you could pull an inch of cloth off the slate with your fingers and sandwiches that even the 3rd world would send back, it started to feel like it was going to be a bad day.

I would like to start by saying that im not entirely happy about people nt turning up for county feeling 100% or worse not turning up at all without any notice. Its not acceptable...

Well, we got off to a howler losing the first session 8-3 in arctic conditions with the only wins coming from Mike Chappell, Jimmy Wharton and Stuart Douglas. A few unlucky games including 2 blacks being potted out of turn for us.

Second session was a lot better, winning it 7-4 and wins coming from Dan Morgan, Jimmy , Peter, Mike, Sean, Terry and Steve... Poor Mr Gore, 0 from 2 at this stage thanks to mike and dan ;-)

Third session and was up to Mr hangover ( tut tut tuttlebee ) to attemt to win his first game of the day against one of their better players, Mr Gore again... With a nice clearance Dane went on to win leaving Mr Gore with 0 from 3, he was unpleased and slightly unpleasant about it..... there there wayne, have a tissue ;-)

With further wins coming from Mike, John Clavey, Terry, Steve and Stuart, we went on to win our second session of the day 6-5 leaving the scoreline at 17-16 to gloucester.
Then temperatures started to rise going into the fourth and final session. Hot heads in more ways than one i think. Sweat was dripping off everyone, shortness of breath, sticky cues but shrek did lose 5lbs. It was a catastrophic session for us losing 9-2 to some of the luckiest, sweatiest pool i have ever witnessed. Even after match was lost i went on and had a slow weird angle double in middle at dead pace, landed perfectly on next ball but as i watched double go in i forgot to move my cue away and the white rolled gently onto my tip #*%$*@*... Im a stupid fecker. The only wins from the last session came from Dan morgan 2/4, Sean Gourley 2/4. John, Dane, Peter all with 1/4, Jimmy, Steve, Stuart and Terry all with 2/4 and a nice ?/4 from Mike Chappell and deserved player of match,although he did play dummies lol...

Ok so after last months fantastic win against Northants this game was highly disappointing, Giving at least 4 games away wasnt helpful, the adverse weather conditions were freaky (indoors) and the tables..... well, lets just say i would have rather played the whole county match down the Vic...
Well done to the 'B's for a nice win and of course to the bunnies for an absolutely awesome display, gloucester ladies could have stayed at home and put the dinner on!!!! Well done Roo on player of the match and to Dan Wilkins for putting in the biggest bribe for his player of the match.

Lets move on, i want 110% for our next match, no hangovers but at least you turned up ( for what it was worth Dane lol ) Come on bucks, we're so much better than that result.. Up the feckin Bucks!
