Pissed and Useless back in action tonight against some old fudgers.

Watch Churchill taking 10 mins at speed pool, Carter going for clearences in his own 'unique' way and Appleby launching the clock into Walnut Tree.

Be there about 7 Koopa. *eating*

I'm ready for early liquid start so best keep an eye on me tonight, as houdini impersonation not out of the question. *grin*
You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where the hell she is

As it should have been of course, not that it makes any different.

Just 1st and 2nd to sort now.

3rd and 4th playoff will be Senile vs Shangers on the 2nd December...

Im sure its on here somewhere John but have you got dates for the winners of that v 2 and the winners of that v 1?

Or is it safe to assume they will be 9th December and 16th December?
Guess whos back, back again.

Sorry that first game is on the 1st, my typo...

I was originally going to avoid the 15th as the Moskoni is on the 16th and either you or Coxy and Ltel would have to play two nights in a row.

But I know that Duvet cant do the 22nd that I planned, so you can either play on the 15th or arrange to play it on another night.. Let's see who gets through the quarter final first...

p.s. Format for Quarter, Semi and Final will be changed to a new format. First to 5 points.

1) Scotch Triples (Best of 5) - worth 1 point
2) Scotch Doubles, three rounds (Best of 5) - worth 3 points
3) Speed Pool (3 single, 1 team, total time) - worth 1 point
4) Scotch Golf Triples (18 holes) - worth 2 points
5) Killer Triples (4 cards each, last man standing) - worth 2 points

You mean it could end up being 2 night in a row getting drunk and playing pool at the shed?

How will I cope?

oh, and I have no idea what golf triples is.
Guess whos back, back again.

Golf on a Pool table.... don't worry I wont ask you to pick up a golf club and go out in the cold :)

Basically each hole on the table is a golf hole, white ball behind the line (The Tee) black ball on it's spot, pot it into each hole in turn in the least number of shots possible (max 9 for each hole). Lowest total number of shots for 18 holes wins :)

Another one we could do...

Bowls....

Scoring as in ten pin bowling....

Rack ten balls - break and dish = Strike
Break and clear with only one miss = Spare
Break and miss twice = Score number of balls potted

Also I think "Power Snooker" could be throw in the mix....

I think dog was thinking more along the lines of how long u take at speed pool Churchill.
Guess whos back, back again.

Did a few timings last night.

Bowling was a hit, I think we could do a full 10 frame match in around 40 minutes.

Golf (9 holes) will only take about 20 minutes.

Speed Pool I already know takes about 25 minutes.

Scotch Doubles and Triples take about 30 minutes each.

Power snooker is time limited to 30 minutes, so 35 mins max including time outs for re-racking.

So assuming we start around 7:30pm we should be on the final game of killer (if it goes 4-4) by 11:00pm

25 minutes for speed pool. I feel comfortable with that. How long does everyone else get? *reading*

3 & 1/2 hours ... time for a trip to tescos to restock on the beer *drinking*
