Hi Maria
As county manager could you clarify with the powers-that-be an apparent contradiction between documents.
In the International Template, section 9 regarding International Eligibility reads:
"Representation at county level must be no lower than the international section players are selected for. Exceptions to this rule can be agreed by the IC in extraordinary circumstances"
In the text above it states:
"Current International Men’s, Ladies, Seniors, Masters and Youth players, from any BI member country may only play in that sections A Team"
I have have always believed, as per the Int Template, that as an England B player I can play either County A or B. Is it now a case that I can only play County A?
Ok Dog I get onto it
Response from International Manager
Mens you can play either,
Ladies you have to play A
I'm not weird, I'm limited edition

Everywhere is nice if you drink enough beer, so some days I’m there and some days I’m here
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE TEAM SELECTION / PLAYER RESTRICTION FOR THE COMING SEASON. THIS EXTRACT HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM THE COUNTY TEMPLATE. IF YOU WISH TO SEE A FULL COPY YOU CAN FIND IT ON THE EBPF WEBSITE.
Team Selection / Player Restrictions
Men’s teams must be fielded from the A team downwards. Meaning, the Men’s A team fixtures must be fulfilled and not having the requisite number of players is not grounds for re-arranging a fixture.
The Men’s A team must have a minimum of 11 players at every match. Registered Men’s B division players must be used in the A team if short of available registered A team players. A maximum of two registered A team players can move down to a B division team at any match but must remain in that B division team for the remainder of the season including county finals. This may mean that those A team players that have been moved down may not be eligible to participate at county finals subject to Rule 82. All Men’s B Players that moved up in a previous match may return to their registered team without penalty. Failure to comply with this rule will result in all A and B team matches being awarded to the opponent county and no individual stats will be counted.
Current International Men’s, Ladies, Seniors, Masters and Youth players, from any BI member country may only play in that sections A Team, unless the A team is already full of internationals in which case they may play in the next lower team. Current International Ladies, Seniors, Master, U23 and U18 players from any BI member country may play in any Men’s division as long as they play for a team in their primary section. This is on condition that their county has a team in their primary section.
Players may only play for one Men’s B team during the season.
