KING OF THE HILL

Everyone is placed into a category based on their ability (have x in each cat and x categories) The best go in Cat 1 and so forth all the way down to Cat x.

Then have a King of the Hill Money Match Day
Different times for different categories (during covid)

People from the same category challenge each to play for whatever pot and race they want
Min £50 per person
Max Race to 25 (match must start at 3pm)

However whoever is King of the category at the time will get 10% of everyone’s pot (in their category) for free (King tax) so if 2 players agree to play for £200 a man then the king gets £40 of that and the players are actually playing for £360.
The King match is whoever the current King has decided to play out of the challenges they receive - there is no king tax on this game.

To determine who becomes the first ever King of each category it would be the match that is playing for the highest pot.

Players cannot play the same person back to back

During these difficult times for businesses we are not able to give free tables but we can offer a reduced fee. Table prices are £5per hr and capped at £20. Table fee payment method is to be decided by both players.

Answers to your questions asked….
Q. How often are the matches?
A. Matches will be played every 6/8 weeks
Q. When will the matches be played?
A. Matches will be played on a Saturday, scheduled in advance, if a match cannot be played on the Saturday it can be scheduled for the Friday
Q. Can players keep challenging the same player?
A. You cannot play a player consecutively unless there was no other player
Q. Does everyone have to play a match each time?
A. No, the only person committed to play is the King who must accept one of the challenges
Q. Can the King agree a match then change mind for a different challenge?
A. The challenges and the arrangements are between the players, it is not sportsmanship to agree then change mind for a different game. There’s a deadline of 2 weeks before match date that challenges are agreed and the King accepts the match, once its declared its game confirmed
Q. Minimum pot has to be?
A. Whilst £50 is minimum per person, the King matches will have a higher minimum e.g. Cat 1 £250 a man, cat 2 £200 a man and Cat 3 £150 a man
