There certainly wasn't much general knowledge last night. But plenty of pool knowledge and skill on show.

A successful first mini comp with 8 taking part.

Emma taking the win. Nick and myself second and third.

Next Wednesday another mini comp. Format to be decided....

I think that a Wednesday is proberbly not a great night to hold events like this due to alotofthe pool players playing in a singles league on that night

Yes, all of two matches up there last night.....

There is no set night for singles match....

Tuesday is league night, Sunday is league night, Friday and Saturday are busy nights.

I don't do Mondays and Thursday I play golf.

So Wednesday it is, no reason why you can't play you singles league first and then join in.

BTW all these competitions take place on the coin-op tables so don't interfere with the singles matches what so ever Smile

I was referring to the singles league at the herold which is on a set night Wednesday. However with it being on coin op I do think it is a good idea maybe doing it on Tuesday when the league starts you might get more people between matches

The Herald? Is that still open? Do people still play pool there? Why? Argue

No point doing a competition at the Q-Academy when it is busy, the coin ops will be in use on a busy night.

Haha lol well the singles league is still going on there so I play as well two at q-academy. I was nearly making a point that with that league still going on Wednesdays are prob not best night to do things like this event.
