Bucks 'A' versus Oxfordshire 'A' ~ Match Report

OK, sorry for the delay.. bit of a cock up with result sheet...

Anyway we had the usual start with the first 3 games goin to Ox, losses from our 3 newcomers franco, scott and Darren.. Jimmy stopped the rot with a fine display. With other wins comin from John H, Dan, Sean and Steve A made the 1st session 5-6 to Ox..

2nd session went our way 6-5 with wins from Scott, Paul, John, Dan, John and Steve...

Onto the 3rd session which again went our way 6-5 with wins from Darren ( 'A' team debut win ) Jimmy, Dan, Sean, Steve and Stuart.. That left Steve, Dan and Sean with 3 outta 3 and the total score at a close 17-16 to the bucks.

Last session and needing 5 for the draw and 6 for the win we got off to a good start with wins from scott rutter 2/4 and darren white 2/4, both 'A' team debuts. Next 3 games went to Oxfordshire followed by wins from John Hardaker 3/4 and Dan Morgan 4/4. Next frame to Ox making it a nervous 22-21 to the bucks.. Enter Terry Davidson 1/4 to secure the draw and then Steve Appleby went on and secured the win with another 4/4. Last frame went to OX making it a very close 23-21 and Dan morgan getting a well deserved Man of the Match, well done Dan, well done steve.
With the ladies securing another win and the 'B' team also kicking some Ox arse it was a great day for the bucks. Keep it up lads, i think we are improving with each game that passes.. See ya all at warwickshire.. up the Bucks
